يدور مسلسل "بائعة الورد" حول "حسرة" الفتاة الفقيرة، التي تسكن أحد أفقر أحياء إسطنبول والتي تنتمي إلى طبقة سفلى وتبيع الورد داخل شوارع المدينة، وتتحدث باللهجة الغجرية? ساقها القدر في طريق "مراد"? هو رجل أكاديمي في مجال الموسيقى، يتميز بالثراء والغنى والشهرة والنجومية في مجال الموسيقى? حيث يأخذ بيدها ويصعد بها إلى سلم النجومية والأضواء، ليكتشف في النهاية أنها تسكن داخل قلبه.
المسلسل من إنتاج شركة Asis Yap?m والإخراج لـ'احمد كاطكسز'? والسيناريو من كتابة 'جول ديريجان' و 'سيرطاش ايرجين'? والبطولة لكل من توبى بيوكوشتون، جانسل التشين، اونور صايلاك ، الهان ششن، اونال سيلفر جوناي,كارجا اوغلو وعايدة اكسل.
وتلعب النجمة "توبى بيوكوشتون" شخصية "حسرة"? التي بدأت تأخذ دروسا في لهجة ورقص الغجر، ودروسا في الغناء من أجل دورها? وفي نفس الآونة توجهت لزيارة الأحياء التي يسكنها الغجر.
أما شخصية "مراد" فيجسدها النجم "جانسل التشين" والذي أخد دروسا في البيانو
